Poetry on a whole can target so many topics and idea without effort. It is the best way to express an opinion about something while adding flavor and/or emphasis if necessary. I had always viewed poetry as a powerful thing and this is why I chose poetry as my topic. This blog highlights some of the pieces I have created, some being more personal than the other. The hopes for this is to have my readers thinking; trying to fully understand my point of view and maybe some will relate. The pieces are also written with some what of a formative side.
